1 Nextcloud Files synchronizes documents; Nextcloud Talk is a separate app for conversations and calls. 2 Install the official client approved by your company and connect your cloud address. 3 Authorize access in your browser and carefully choose which folders to synchronize. 4 Choose a dedicated local folder. Do not select the whole drive or a folder managed by another sync app. Review existing files before connecting. 5 Check the client status: complete, in progress, paused or error. Open notifications to see the cause. 6 Before working offline, download the files you need and check that they open without a connection. 7 Test it: create a folder named Sync test, wait for synchronization to finish, then check it in Files using your browser. 8 Test the other direction by uploading a small file on the web and checking that it appears in your local folder.
