Step by step

Click each step to mark your progress during this visit.

1. 1Check that you install Nextcloud Files, not Nextcloud Talk. Both can be installed, but they serve different purposes.
2. 2Install the official Nextcloud app from your device’s app store.
3. 3Enter your cloud address and complete sign-in.
4. 4When authorizing access, check the address and account in the browser. Return to the app when authorization finishes.
5. 5Open a folder and a test file. Use the upload options to send an authorized document or photo.
6. 6If the app supports offline access, select the file and wait for the download. Test it before leaving.
7. 7A mobile download is a local copy. Synchronization and offline options are not identical to the desktop client.
