Step by step

1. 1Nextcloud Files synchronizes documents; Nextcloud Talk is a separate app for conversations and calls.
2. 2Install the official client approved by your company and connect your cloud address.
3. 3Authorize access in your browser and carefully choose which folders to synchronize.
4. 4Choose a dedicated local folder. Do not select the whole drive or a folder managed by another sync app. Review existing files before connecting.
5. 5Check the client status: complete, in progress, paused or error. Open notifications to see the cause.
6. 6Before working offline, download the files you need and check that they open without a connection.
7. 7Test it: create a folder named Sync test, wait for synchronization to finish, then check it in Files using your browser.
8. 8Test the other direction by uploading a small file on the web and checking that it appears in your local folder.
