Upload files and create folders | Nextcloud

Step by step

Click each step to mark your progress during this visit.

1. 1Find the document on your computer and check its name and size to avoid uploading the wrong file.
2. 2In Files, open the folder where you want to save your document.
3. 3Choose + New and upload files, or drag them from your computer.
4. 4When choosing Upload files, select your document in the dialog and click Open. Keep the browser tab open during the upload.
5. 5Wait for the upload to finish and check that the document name appears.
6. 6To organize your work, use + New → New folder. Open the folder before uploading your next file.
7. 7Open the uploaded file to verify its content. To move it, use its ⋯ menu and choose Move or copy.
